I’ve just returned from a busy week at this year’s Transit Communications held in Washington D.C. where we met with many interesting people from the communication and passenger service arena. Also, we used the event as an opportunity to release our latest case study on our work with the Washington Metro Area Transit Authority (WMATA).
The Transit Communications show always provides us with great insight into the challenges that transport authorities and operators alike face when trying to meet the communication needs of their passengers and the first responders, especially inside subway tunnels. As we become ever more mobile, we expect to stay connected whenever and wherever we are.
So we thought we’d share our insight too by publishing how we have helped the WMATA with their coverage requirements across the busy transport network of our capital city. We have been working with the team at WMATA for several years now and hope to continue helping them to keep the commuters and first responders safe while in the subway.
